FUTURES PARENTING YOUNG CHILDREN & CHILD DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM
A six week program (geared for parents
of children 0 - 6) held exclusively for referred Peel Children’s
Aid clients. Parents learn new skills and gain hope to help
with every day parenting challenges. Topics include communication,
encouragement, problem solving and discipline. Children
are supervised in fun, play-based, problem-solving-learning
activities. Snacks are provided and transportation assistance
is available, if required.

We
offer core parenting courses which parents can register
for. In addition, we collaborate with community partners
and facilitate parenting courses and workshops for them.
We also provide programs for the general public who wish
to host a parenting course or workshop in their home or
